We're expanding our team and looking for a Senior Networking and Cybersecurity Engineer who can take charge of our cloud network infrastructure, ensuring that it remains modern, scalable, secure, and highly available.

Position Overview

As a Senior Networking and Cybersecurity Engineer, your primary focus will be on designing, implementing, and maintaining robust networking and security solutions for our datacenter environments. You will be a key player in improving the performance, scalability, and security of our cloud services, working with cutting-edge technologies to meet both current and future demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Datacenter Networking Design & Implementation: Architect, deploy, and maintain networking solutions in both the physical and logical layers, ensuring a secure and high-performing environment for our cloud services.
• Presales & Customer Engagement: Collaborate with partners and customers to design cloud networking and security solutions tailored to their needs, offering expert guidance in presale engagements.
• Infrastructure Modernization & Automation: Lead efforts to modernize and automate our network infrastructure, enhancing scalability, performance, and reliability within our datacenters.
• Security Solutions: Implement and manage security measures across our cloud infrastructure, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and DDoS protection, ensuring compliance with the highest standards of cybersecurity.
• Project Leadership: Serve as the technical project lead for networking and security initiatives, driving projects from conception to implementation.

Key Competencies:

• Enterprise Networking: Deep knowledge of enterprise network design and architecture, with the ability to adapt traditional networks to cloud-based environments.
• Internet Networking: Expertise in internet protocols (BGP, Load Balancing, VLANs, etc.), with hands-on experience in NSX-T, firewall, and routing technologies.
• Cybersecurity: Proficiency in implementing cybersecurity solutions including firewalls (FW), intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), identity management (IdP), and DDoS mitigation.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Strong understanding of virtualized environments and experience working with VMware and other cloud technologies.
• Automation: Ability to collaborate with our software development team to integrate networking and security automation, ensuring seamless operations and a cloud experience to our customers.

Experience & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in senior-level networking roles, ideally in a datacenter or cloud provider environment.
• Substantial hands-on experience with routing protocols (BGP), switching, network virtualization (VMware NSX-T), load balancing, and cybersecurity solutions.
• Familiarity with the following products and vendors is a plus:
  • A10 ADC
  • Fortinet
  • Dell PowerSwitch series
  • VMware NSX-T

• A strong passion for continuous learning, with a willingness to evolve and take on new challenges.
• High level of energy, self-motivation, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in our team (seven people currently).
